I wanted to share what we did to finish off Spring Break. On Saturday we went to the National Zoo. It took us forever to get there because they were working on certain parts of the metro. We got to a station and would've had to wait 20+ minutes for the next train. So we decided to walk for the remaining mile or two. The walk was really nice. It was exciting in that we walked by a protest against the church of Scientology. It was an interesting protest: everyone was wearing masks and they were blasting crazy music. Personally, I prefer the protesters outside of General Conference: they're fairly quiet and they're just telling me stuff I already know ("You'll go to hell if you don't believe in Christ." Well, duh, that's why I believe in Christ. Geesh.)
Anyway, once we got to the zoo, it was nice. I haven't been to one in ages. Sweets really liked the monkeys and actually tried to reach out and touch a couple through the glass. We had a great time, but my feet killed me by the time we got home.
You may be seeing posts from my hubby appear here every once in awhile. He wanted to join in the fun, so I figured I'd let him.
