Our non-traditional car (the one I'm holding) is basically the car with a Nauvoo brick and the title "Block of Mormon." Sweets was tired the whole time, but she did sleep better than normal. I just tired her out enough. Overall, we had a great time, and Hubby is looking forward to doing it again next year.

Pinewood Derby
Last night the Elders of our ward joined together to act like boys. It was the Elders Quorum's First Annual Pinewood Derby. I helped my hubby with one of his cars. He had put it off (too much other things to do) and we made both of his cars (traditional and non-traditional) about 3 hours before the derby started. I actually had fun doing it. We had a lot of fun at the derby. I spent most of the time talking to friends, but my hubby's car took second! I was so surprised. His was not fancy, but its simple design and racing strip (along with some borrowed weight) just kept winning. It was a fun time. Here's a picture of us:
