So it's official. We're staying in Virginia...for the time being. My hubby secured a judicial clerkship for the year following graduation. So he'll be working while he studies and takes the bar. Yay! If you want all the gory details (like where the clerkship is exactly and what he'll be doing) email me. We're so excited. And even though it's only for a year and we'll be searching for another job after awhile, it's a great learning opportunity and it really gives him a leg up.
Sweets is just growing so much—too fast sometimes. She is now trying to stand on her own and she's talking. Well, she's not saying any intelligible words, but it sounds like she's talking. We have a lot of fun playing together.
I've been reading a lot. I wanted to plug a book I read recently. It's called Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale. Excellent book. If you get an opportunity to read it, do. It's a fairy tale, a retelling of a Grimm tale, but it's so well written and full of really lovable characters.
