Spring!

We had a wonderful week of sunny skies and 60-70 degree weather. The trees started to bloom and then, POOF!, it was rainy and in the 40-50s. Oh well. But the buds are still out. And last Saturday we went down to DC and walked among some of the cherry blossoms. We didn't go around the Tidal Basin because it's just too crowded and we parked too far away. But we were able to be by the Potomac and have a wonderful time.

Sweets found a bunch of the flowers on the ground and couldn't resist.

Me and my girls. It's kinda fun to have all girls when I grew up with so many brothers.

Sweets and Bumpkin were drawn to the river. They found sticks and went "fishing." They were also trying their hardest to give their parents heart attacks. At least, I was scared they were going to fall in. They kept getting really close. But they had a blast.

I'm looking forward to when the weather turns warmer again. Spring is really my favorite season, especially here with all the flowering trees and everything turns green. So beautiful!
