Thoughts on Pretty Much Everything

I've been waiting to post so I could post pictures. Well, my computer's power plug went caput and my computer, with all my pictures, is dead. I'm waiting on a new power plug. But I've got a minute, for once, and thought I'd say hi. Pictures will have to wait for next time.

The middle of January we got to go to Utah for a friend's wedding. It was wonderful. I got to see some good friends that I haven't seen in awhile. We also blessed Bumpkin while we were there. It was great to have so many members of our family and some good friends there. One thing that was really special about the trip was going to the temple. Having two kids, especially one who needs to attach herself to me every couple hours, makes it harder to go. I hadn't been for awhile. Granted, I only got to go to a sealing, but it was wonderful. I always find such peace when I go, and it was wonderful to be reminded of the promises I've made, especially those I've made to my husband. Overall, a great experience.

Last week, the weather was beautiful and the girls and I got to go play outside again. I love being able to do that. Sweets can almost drive me crazy, so going outside and letting her get all her energy out by running and playing, nothing better. It felt good to get some sunshine. WInter doldrums really were settling in.

Stimulus package? ICKY!!!!! (I could go on and on about this. But I will spare you all.)

I hate colds. They make you feel gross and don't go away. At least the one our family has won't leave. Hubby just cannot kick it. Why can't it be summer? (Spring brings allergies to Hubby as well. Poor thing.)

Sweets has caught the coloring bug. And, as I'm sure all you parents out there have experienced, the wall is her favorite place to share her new-found artwork. No matter what I say, no matter the threats that pour through my mouth, the wall (and certain choice books) are her favorite medium. Any suggestions on how to get crayon/pen/pencil off the wall? I'm thinking paint.

If you see a child who has crazy hair in public, do not comment, out loud, that his/her mother has not combed their hair for the day. It's rude. Keep all comments to yourself. (Yes, someone said this to Mikayla a couple weeks ago.)

Stake Conference should not be held on Valentine's Day. Check the calendar people!

Rose petals smell good.

Lost is one of the best TV shows ever.

That's all folks. Tune in next time for some pretty cute pictures of my cute girls. I'll try to do it soon!

Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the crayon/pencil marks? It worked pretty well when I had to take pen off of our walls across the street from you.

Mr. Clean Magic earer works well unless you have flat paint and it starts taking the pain off your wall. WD40 works too (seriously, removes crayon is listed as one of the uses) at least helps to loosen the crayon so it comes off easier...maybe a combo will work as well.
