Christmas and Our Trip West

I haven't posted in awhile because we've been gone, and it's hard to post when you're spending so much time with family. I realize I've been home for awhile, but recovery really takes time. As a family we spent 3 weeks out West visiting family. It was great times, although 3 weeks was WAY too long to be there. I love our families, but I missed sleeping in my own bed and Sweets just doesn't sleep well elsewhere (and she's still recovering).

My dad bought these building blocks that my hubby loves playing with. Here are a couple of his creations from the trip:





As you can tell, we got pretty elaborate. Hubby is now really excited to get our own set (when we can afford it) and spend countless hours having fun. Sweets had te honor of knocking both of these structures down. What fun.

Other than that, we've enjoyed being home. I'm now in the Primary Presidency (1st counselor), so that keeps me both busy and on my toes. I've also received my acceptance to San Jose State, so I begin classes in the fall. Yay! I'm excited to finally get back to school and get some skills to do a job I know for sure I'll enjoy.
