So, I've found my new favorite place on the planet: The Outer Banks, North Carolina. We went down and spent Thanksgiving at a beach house (rented) with 4 other families (all really good friends). It was absolutely wonderful! The beach was 2 blocks away and it was nice and warm. My 25th birthday was filled with beach and sun and time with my hubby—a short commodity these days. If we stay in this area, we're going to do this every year.

Two other things of note. Sweets is now pulling herself into a stand. She's going to be a 9-month-old walker. The other is I have applied to a Library Science Masters Program. Seems like I'm following in my father's footsteps after all.
