So, I have to admit that the title to this post is stolen from a children's book (thank you Lemony Snicket). This new blog should not need any explaining, except for maybe my choice in name. Since my husband is about to finish law school and is looking for an all-important job, I figured I'd be a good thing to keep myself annonymous (sp?) so any future employers can't find him through me and see what a silly wife he has (HA!). The name I have chosen for myself, Pretty Mahana, also arises from my husband. He likes to dally in the blogs of the world, and uses his own psudonym, Ugly Mahana. And, as you all probably know, I'm his better half. So I figured I get to be the pretty one.
As for this blog, it will be a random sampling of opinions, news, and just stuff I feel like talking about. Also, Sweets (my 6-month-old daughter) will probably be frequently mentioned, so beware. Otherwise, just sit back and relax. This shouldn't be too painful.
