Me Again!

So, a lot has been going on. And I fully intended to blog about it. But I have yet to replace my camera (I have an old one I was using, but can't find the charger for it and it might have been destroyed by water anyway), and who wants to read about all our doings without seeing pictures? I sure don't. I've been using my Flip video camera to document things and I can get pictures from the videos, so you'll have to deal with that.

A couple weeks ago the girls and I went to Houston for a week to visit my sister. We had such a good time. I've decided how much I really do want a house with a backyard and how much I do not want a dog. Don't get me wrong: she has a really nice dog and the girls loved him. I'm just not a dog person. It was wonderful to spend time with her and I'm glad we were able to keep her company for a week.

Yesterday we went to Shanendoah National Park and found a great hike. It was really easy so the girls could walk it and it led to a rock overlook. The girls had such a great time and loved being on top of a mountain. Here they are; hope you can see a little of the view behind them.
It was so beautiful!
Bumpkin had fun playing with the water fountain at the nearby gift shop.

And, just to show you all how much of a show-off Sweets is, here's a video for your pleasure. This is after she said, "Mom, take a picture of me!"

As you can tell, we're having fun. The weather has turned cooler, thank goodness, and things are moving right along. As for me, I'm still pregnant. That's about all. Oh, and I'm taking up sewing with a vengeance. With all these babies coming, I decided they all needed homemade blankets. I'm having fun doing it.

Oh my your girls are so Beautiful!! I just bumped into Marianne at a Stake Conference and Diana is in a couple of my law classes this semester. Can you believe how long it's been since we were bounding through the English countryside?!

I can't believe how big your girls are getting. Really it is their hair! And they are very cute! I would love to see what you are doing with sewing. I'm trying to venture past baby blankets but I simply love the flannel fabric available for baby blankets and have a hard time looking at anything else...though I have one project that I need to being that is not for a baby blanket. Anyway, that's enough about me. Keep us updated with the upcoming baby! Love you and miss you!
