Big Changes

So, I realize I've left you all for awhile. There is good reason. There have been some big changes in our lives. Some of you already know most of them. But I need to share them anyway.

First, Hubby got a job. Yes, a real, permanent job. It doesn't pay super well, but hey, it's a job! It's with a title company in Annandale, VA. He's learning the title work, but there's also a law firm as part of the company, so he's able to do attorney work as well. We are so happy to be out of the unemployment slump. This job is such a blessing; it'll be rough with so little pay, but it's a great learning experience and we're so happy to have it!

Next, we moved. We now are in Manassas, VA. I love our new place. It's a condo that has been completely remodeled, so I naturally love my kitchen. It's a nice place and we're still trying to get everything unpacked and everything. It's close to the commuter rail station, so Hubby has been commuting to work. We're happy to be here though. There were 3 weeks where Hubby was gone all week working while the girls and I were still in Richmond. Thank goodness that's over.

I think that's about it, but hey, those are two pretty big changes. It feels nice to be able to just relax and take off a lot of worries that I've been carrying around for awhile. It's such a relief to be settled for the time being, with a job and a place to live. (Big sigh) What a hard year. But things are looking up. My baby sickness is starting to ease a bit. Instead of all day, it's only late afternoon-night now. It makes a total difference.

I guess I should update you on my chillins as well. Sweets is so wonderful. She's three and loves it. She can talk your ear off, she loves to sing, she loves to show off, and she loves to dress up and be a princess. She's starting to say things I say, so I'm trying to watch what comes out of my mouth. Nothing bad, but it's interesting to hear certain phrases coming from her. She's also interesting on how she describes things. The other night it was really dark and she couldn't see. So she said, "I can't see my eyes." I thought that was creative.

Bumpkin is just growing too fast. She's started to expand her vocabulary. She's really emphasizing "yes" and loves her "baby". She was supposed to start nursery in church, but the first week she was sick and last week she slept all through church. Oh well, we'll try this next week. She loves playing with her sister and she's always smiling, happy, and loves to give hugs and kisses. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful children!

I'm so excited for the new job! That is absolutely wonderful and your new condo sounds wonderful! I don't know if you saw on Facebook, but I am also pregnant, due end of January, so our babies are going to be so close together. What fun!
