Finally...TIME!

Yay! I finally have time to sit and blog. The girls are playing quietly with no fighting...yet. I have some work to do for my dad, but that can wait. So, I LOVE Richmond. It's so beautiful and quieter than the DC area. Spring, my favorite season in Virginia, has seemed to come so quickly. It's like there are just buds on the trees, then the next day everything is in bloom. This year, although I've loved the flowering trees, I experienced allergies for the first time. My eyes itched, my nose ran, and I discovered the misery my Hubby feels every Spring. Oh well, it has passed.

I have to confess something. Awhile ago I wrote about becoming a part of the Costco club, of which I'm still a proud member (plus, it's 2 blocks away now, so, WOOT!). But I have a love that runs even deeper than Costco. IKEA. I have a love affair with IKEA. The weird names, the cheap yet stylish furniture, the really ugly couches, I love it all! We drove up to IKEA a couple weekends ago (1 1/2 hour drive) and got new bookcases, flower lamps for the girls, lamps for our living room, dining room chairs (we had been eating on the floor on a blanket), and kiddie dishes, all for under $200. Now my books are out of boxes, we have family dinners, and there is light all over the house. We've been busy just organizing and finally unpacking everything. It really now feels like home. Thank you IKEA!

Finally got a card reader to upload pictures off my camera. Three days later, Sweets broke my camera. Like royally broke it. She was taking pictures, and when I told her time was up, she threw it and it hit the wall. The lens is now stuck out and it won't turn on. New camera or get the old one fixed? Not sure what to do yet. But here are some pictures to enjoy!
Sweets at a local park.
Looking for rocks to throw into the water.
Slaying dragons with her "sword."
This is right near the play area at our apartment complex. It's really nice with the stream and everything.

I'm so glad you guys are happy in Richmond. What a beautiful place to live! Have you tried the Children's museum yet? It's awesome. I took the boys when Larry was interviewing for residency and we had a great time. Lots of beautiful homes and statues nearby too.
Your girls have grown so much! They are beautiful!!
