Single Motherhood

I've spent the last few days as a single mother. Last Tuesday, Hubby got in the car and drove to Virginia, seeking work. Utah has become a dead end. So he has gone to VA till Thanksgiving to see what he can drum up. He had an interview yesterday (please pray for this one!) and he has another one tomorrow. We're really hoping something will pop soon. Anyway, this aggressive job seeking has left me with the girls. I have a brand new respect for single mothers. I really don't know how they do it. I'm managing because:
1. I'm living with my parents and they are a HUGE help.
2. I know I'm still married to a living person who loves me and I'll be with him again soon.
3. I don't have to go to a "real" job. Whatever work I have, it's at home.

If any of you know a single mother, give her a hug and offer to babysit. Really, they do so much. They are strong and so capable. I give all single mothers out there a standing ovation.

P.S. Honestly, please pray for this job Hubby interviewed with on Monday. It's in Roanoke, VA and it would be so wonderful.

P.S.S. Quick kid update: Bumpkin is now officially walking everywhere, and she's weaned. Sweets is great at being 2 and her passion is dressing in dresses and dancing and coloring. She's also starting to say hi to strangers.
