Bar Study, Sweets, and Garden

So, life has been, well, kinda crazy lately. My hubby's bar study is really dominating our life right now. He's been studying so hard, and I've just been praying for it to all end. And I thought law school was bad. I won't complain too much about it though. You don't want to hear it, and, frankly, it's almost over and it'll be all worth it anyway.

Sweets has been keeping me busy (hence the intermittent posting). She gets jealous of the computer a lot; it takes my attention away from her. This Sunday, Hubby is taking time off and I have a minute to sit and type. Anyway, Sweets's vocabulary is growing more and more. She now says Up, Teeth, and will sign eat or more for food. She tries to imitate a lot more now. She's just growing so fast. She's also been interacting with a lot of babies and doing quite well with them, which makes me think she'll be better with her new little sibling than I originally thought. Here's a great picture of her eating pizza yesterday:

There are parts of her face that are STILL orange. She's such a joy, and it's so fun to be her mom.

We have a garden. It's just a little balcony one, but it's there nonetheless. We tried one a couple years ago, but I killed it (except for the rhubarb, which has proved impossible to kill). We've tried again this year (less squirrels around) and I haven't killed anything yet. Better yet, it's prospering!

The plants you see, left to right, are the rhubarb, groung flower plant I got at a baby shower, cherry pepper, cherry tomatoes, and lastly a gerbera daisy. There are 10 tomatoes already (all but one still green), and the possibility for more. The pepper plant is also quite fruitful. We're getting excited for all of it to get ripe enough to eat!
Tomatoes, one of which is almost ready!

that's the kind of picture that must be shown to Sweets' prospective boyfriends. :) Excellent!

Sweets' picture is awesome. I love the grin as the pizza was smeared all over her face, brings back memories. NO, not of me! although I wouldn't be surprised.

Sweets looks so happy to have her face completely covered! And also - hooray for gardens (yours is looking AWESOME)!
