I haven't written in a week because I got called to Utah to work for my Dad. Normally, that wouldn't really stop me, considering I'm on the computer all day working and all the great little news stories from this past week. But, alas, the trip was not all kicks and giggles. Sweets and I got sick. And I mean sick. I started things off then Sweets followed not too long after. Sleepless nights and vomiting don't go well for a one year old. I've recovered faster than her; she's still really fussy, tired, and just not 100%. Considering she's never been this sick before, I want to commend myself for staying so calm. I thought I'd be freaking out when my little girl couldn't even keep down water, but I kept my cool, for the most part.
Now that you know more than you probably want to, the rest of the trip was pretty good. It was good to see my parents and my brother with his family. I stayed up many a night (too late sometimes) chatting with my sis-in-law. It was great fun. It was also nice to visit Utah and realize that I like it there, but I love living here in Virginia. The only problem with Virginia, and i realized this when we got off the plane, is that summers are too hot and humid. Oh well, you can't have everything. Thank goodness for air conditioning...

Congrats on keeping your cool. I know its hard when a one year old is sick, especially 'cause you can't train them to make it to the toilet bowl. Keep your chin up you're a great mom.
Becca! My old Londonite friend! I am so happy that I found your blog. You and your family are so adorable! Sorry you got sick. But I'm glad you made it home safe and in good health. Loves!

So when were you in Utah? I wish I'd gotten to see you! Oh well, I guess we did hang out for a week like 2 months ago. I'm glad you're feeling better and hopefully Mikayla too.
